About Mohamed

Hi, I’m Mohamed,

I’m a Registered Provisional Psychologist who most importantly shows up as a real human first: steady, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I’m committed to creating a therapy space where you can breathe, think clearly, and feel understood in a way that lands not just clinically, but personally.

I work with adults and emerging adults navigating the pressure, emotion, and complexity of their lives—whether that shows up as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship stress, identity questions, or major transitions. My goal is simple: to offer a space that feels safe, honest, and genuinely human.

A meaningful part of my practice is dedicated to supporting men who have spent years carrying things alone: men taught to stay quiet, tough it out, or avoid emotion altogether. Many arrive unsure how to express what’s happening inside; they don’t always have the words, just the weight. With me, therapy is a conversation, not a performance. You get to show up real: frustrated, numb, hopeful, sarcastic, exhausted, or all of the above, and we sort through things one step at a time.

I also work closely with emerging adults who are figuring out who they’re becoming, the expectations placed on them, and the emotional challenges of building a life that feels like their own. That might mean navigating independence, relationships, identity shifts, or simply trying to understand why everything feels harder than it “should.”

As someone who’s neurodivergent myself, I care deeply about supporting neurodivergent adults in understanding their patterns, needs, and strengths without shame or confusion. Whether you’ve known for years or are just beginning to explore this part of yourself, we create a clearer, more compassionate roadmap together.

I also support clients moving through cultural, faith-based, or identity-related challenges: those who feel caught between different worlds, pulled by competing expectations, or unsure how to reconcile the many parts of themselves. I work with individuals from all identities and aspire to offer a space that is culturally aware, emotionally safe, and welcoming for queer, neurodivergent, and otherwise marginalized or underrepresented clients. These conversations are often complex and deeply personal, and I approach them with curiosity, care, and respect.

Across all these areas, my approach is collaborative and flexible. Sessions might be reflective and grounding or focused on patterns and change. I adjust to who you are that day and what you need, not a script or a manual.

I offer in-person sessions in Calgary and secure virtual therapy across Alberta with Shirley Psychological Services. If you’re unsure where to begin, that’s completely okay. We can start with a conversation and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
